Between weather, sickness, Christmas, and life in general, things have been in a state of waiting for some time, now. But we’re not idle: We are interviewing a potential new member on the weekend, we’re researching new investigation sites and making plans to return to previously visited sites, and so much more. We’ve been receiving a lot of emails from people, so we’ve been addressing those as best we can and answering everything from questions about what we do, to requests for our opinion on video and photo captures. All in all, and in spite of having to wait for warmer weather and better outdoor conditions, we’ve been doing quite well.
On a personal note, since about the middle of December, we’ve had some infrequent but still unusual events occurring. Movement we can’t explain in different areas of the house, seen out of the corners of our eyes; the sound of several people engaged in conversation, though no one else is present in the home, outside, or next door; the dog coming out of a sound sleep, barking at what seems like nothing; the sound of a cat in the hallway, though our cat is fast asleep on our bed; feeling pressure at the foot of the bed even though the dog is kenneled in another room, we’re already in bed, and the cat is curled up beside my shoulder, sleeping. For the most part, we’ve just ignored these events, because they are not constant. I haven’t written about them for the same reason.
But we don’t want anyone thinking that we’ve gone to dust, so I thought I would take a moment just to let everyone know how things are going and what’s happening. In fact, we’re considering conducting a training investigation in my house to help introduce our new team members to the process, while providing them with a safe, secure environment.
This year is already looking wonderfully promising, and we’re very excited about the investigations we’re already planning. Have a wonderful day, and thanks for stopping by!
